The Class 1A Area 2 champion Pleasant Home Eagles took on the runner up from Area 3 the Georgiana Panthers last night for a spot in the Class 1A Regionals that will be held in Mobile on Tuesday. The Panthers started off with a commanding 18-4 lead in the first quarter. Pleasant Home cut the lead to seven at the half 26-19 before coming back to tie the game at 35-35 midway through the third quarter. Georgiana took control of the game once again going up by ten in the fourth. Pleasant Home cut the lead to four, but Georgiana did not allow them to get any closer as the Panthers got the win 51-41 ending the Eagles season.
